Information Hollow Wise may receive

You can browse the public website without creating an account. If you email Hollow Wise or join the updates list, Hollow Wise receives the contact details and information you choose to provide. Hollow Wise also counts a small set of funnel milestones—such as starting the signup form, viewing the welcome page, choosing Home Wise, or opening early access. These milestone records contain the event name, public page path, optional email-campaign tag, and time; they do not contain your email address, form answers, household information, or IP address.

Home Wise accounts may store an email address, display name, optional pronouns, home type, room count, room names and order, cleaning preferences, reminder style, accessibility or support needs, household notes, support-questionnaire answers, saved task lists and routines, handoffs, optional feedback, and limited product activity needed for continuity and usefulness measurement.

Sign-in processing may include a request time, IP address, browser user agent, hashed rate-limit values, short-lived login-token records, secure session records, and—when you choose Google sign-in—a verified email address and stable Google account identifier. Hollow Wise does not receive your Google password.

Account activity records are bounded to information such as a module identifier, random run identifier, start, pause, exit or completion event, current step, completed-action count, quick-feedback category, and optional written feedback. Authorized aggregate reports do not display email addresses, household details, task text, written comments, or individual activity timelines.

Signed-in beta testers may submit a finding type, impact choice, written description, task and page context, limited browser context, and up to three optional screenshots. Screenshots can contain information visible on the tester's screen, so testers are asked to review them before sharing.

Guest and browser-local use

Home Wise's free Kitchen Quick Clean can be used as a guest. Progress stays in that browser. Limited guest usefulness signals may contain random browser and run identifiers, allowlisted event and feedback categories, and timestamps; they do not contain a name, email address, room choice, household information, checklist text, or written feedback.

Retired private prototypes may have stored plans, recipes, inventory, household food preferences, allergy and intolerance information, sensory needs, leftovers, cooking progress, timers, and kitchen memories in browser storage. Removing a public prototype does not automatically erase information already stored in a person's browser.

How information is used

• provide sign-in, profiles, saved progress, routines, handoffs, and requested connected features;
• personalize available rooms and guidance from information you choose to provide;
• operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the products;
• measure aggregate usefulness without behavioral advertising;
• deliver updates only after optional marketing consent; and
• respond to support, safety, privacy, and legal requests.

Current recommendations come from founder-curated task libraries and deterministic rules. Account, household, accessibility, and support information is not silently sent to an external generative-AI model.

Service providers and sharing

Cloudflare provides hosting, security, application execution, database storage, and transactional-email infrastructure. Google processes optional sign-in and Calendar connections. Mailchimp receives an email address only after optional marketing consent; product activity, profiles, household information, and feedback are not sent to Mailchimp. Metricool receives the public page viewed and uses an IP address to determine country for aggregate website analytics; Hollow Wise does not use it for personalized advertising.

Beta findings are stored in Cloudflare's database service and optional screenshots are stored in private Cloudflare object storage. They are available only to the submitting tester and the authorized Hollow Wise owner account, and are not used as marketing content.

Hollow Wise does not sell personal information or share it for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. Information may also be disclosed when legally required, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transition.

Retention and security

Login links expire after 15 minutes and work once. Login-attempt rate-limit records are scheduled for deletion after approximately 24 hours. Anonymous funnel milestones and limited guest activity are kept for up to 90 days. Persistent account sessions can last up to 30 days; session-only sign-in ends when the browser session closes. Account, profile, routine, task, handoff, and feedback information is kept while needed to provide, secure, improve, or legally protect the service. Backup or legal copies may remain for a limited period after deletion.

Beta screenshots are deleted from active private storage when the related finding is marked resolved. A small internal record of the finding and the screenshot deletion is retained for product follow-through, security, and accountability.

Hollow Wise uses safeguards appropriate to a small early-access service, including hashed login and session tokens, secure cookies, account-scoped access, and encrypted transport. No online service can promise perfect security or indefinite availability.

Your choices

You may use supported guest features, leave optional fields blank, decline marketing, disconnect optional services, sign out, clear browser-local data, or request access, correction, deletion, or reconsideration of a privacy decision. Clearing browser data removes local progress from that browser and may make it unavailable on another device.

Hollow Wise is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. Privacy rights vary by location; applicable requests will be handled based on where you live and may require identity verification.

Current review limits

Hollow Wise is a founder-operated early-access project. Its privacy and security controls have received AI-assisted internal review, not independent legal advice, a professional penetration test, or external privacy certification. Open review questions include hosted backup-deletion timing, complete production log fields, administrative-access review, and end-to-end deletion expectations.
